Are they so dumb as to believe there’s no record (or YouTube video) of what they’ve done or things they’ve said that will prove them to be a deceitful liar?
Examples:
Hillary…..she lied about her Bosnia visit.
Obama…he lied about not ever attending Rev. Wright’s sermon where racist and anti-American rants were preached.
Bill Clinton…”I never had sexual relations with that woman….”
Sen. Larry Craig’s lurid airport toilet scandal…”I am not now, nor have I ever been, a homosexual”.
The list goes on of course…
What’s up with these people, don’t they know that sooner or later, the truth will come out (but won’t necessarily set them free)?

For me if they made comment like that nbc ends up having that theres nobody on my staff who would also say that about anybody of any ethnic group and would hope that about.

Both celebs & politicains make a living by pretending to be someone else when a camera is around. Those who do better than the other guy get the benefits. Those who aren’t so good at it have to find another job. It’s in their best interest to be proficient.

i think it is a combination of pure ego, that they are so powerful they can get by with it, and calculated gambles, and i thinkthere are some like hillary and bill that are just plainly compulsive liars, i’m not sure they even are aware of when they do it anymore.

They have no - NO people. No one will tell them NO. They think they are Special and we are all stupid. I think it is in the wrong order. We are smarter than them. They actually believe what people tell them. IE: Hillary you are the smartest woman in the world and the little people will believe whatever you tell them.
